How do i go about getting a pardon from the govenor doyle?

Posted by admin on March 31st, 2010 and filed under govenor | 3 Comments »

a lawyer told me to ask the govenor doyle for a pardon on for a law issue i have .

What is the law issue? Why do you want a pardon?
The chances are slim that you will recieve a pardon on a legal issue.
Your first step would be to contact the governers office in Madison. Im sure someone in an assisting position can help you further in pursuing that request.
But before doing so, make sure you have reasonable reason to submit a request for pardon. If you do not, they will laugh you right out of the capitol.
Im from Wisconsin, in my opinion, Gov. Doyle needs to be replaced by Wisconsins true leader…..Former Gov. Tommy Thompson.
Good luck, though.

Has anyone graduated from the Western Governers University, and how has your experience been finding a job?

WGU not for U

The ONLY way you should consider WGU is if you’re stay-at home person (mom, busy professional, social phobia). I’ve been there for a year and a half. The administration is beyond surly, bordering on rude, incompetent and apt to change rules as they go along ( always to their financial benefit). …

I began WGU on August 1st. Boy was that a disappoint. From day one it has been horrific. First I had to PURCHASE an electronic "book" that was $30 some dollars. There are tons of "cases" in them. Then all of your assignments are tons of ESSAYS. First is like …

Not Satisfied

I have been very disappointed with WGU. My mentor is not helpful at all and when I ask her a question she doesn’t seem to know herself yet she has a PHD in math. One is required to complete these taskstream assignments with no help. The community is not helpful …

Why is US politics and commentary so concerned with political partisanship?

Posted by admin on March 31st, 2010 and filed under politics | 4 Comments »

Decreasing partisan politics has been a major theme in Presidential US politics for a while now and I cannot see why so much hot air is wasted on the issue. Will any good come out of this debate? What’s the root cause of it? Does anyone, even in politics, think that they will magically change their ways?

Partisanship is a product of a two party system. It will always be present as long as choice is so limited. In theory it represents two polar opposites in thinking. At one time this might have been true, but recent events show that the party ideologies are merging. However, even though it may be merging at the elected level, it has not changed at the base level. There are still different ideologies among the people, but our leaders do not appear to be true to their constituents. This does not mean that we should abandon our belief systems, but it should be a warning sign that we need to examine our choices for leadership. Our leaders know this and continue the charade for their own benefit. As long as the populace stays embroiled in the us versus them mentality we are not really looking at who the real enemy is, or what they doing against all of our interests.

What is the reasoning behind the Republican Party being an elephant?

Posted by admin on March 31st, 2010 and filed under republican | 3 Comments »

I know the story behind the Democratic Party’s symbol being the Donkey, that Andrew Jackson started it and a cartoonist got it going. I know that reasoning, I just wanted to know why the Republican Party’s symbol is an elephant? I know that the Republicans are the GOP, Grand Old Party, and I just wanted to know why that was there symbol. Did it have anything to do with Lincoln being the first true Republican? What is the story behind it? Links would be great. Thank you.

Republicans have the elephant because its the strongest one of the smartest animals on the planet. The Dems got a jackazz becaise that best sums them up.

Why are Democratic freedom fighter reps caving in to Obama Pelosi health bill threats and fear mongering?

Posted by admin on March 31st, 2010 and filed under democratic | 1 Comment »

What are the leading reasons those Democratic leaders who opposed Obama care bill are caving in? Personal rewards? Ego plays to make history? Promises of help to get a new job or re elected versus threats of party abandonment if they don’t vote for Obama care?

Is that right?

Because they are sick of republican fear mongering and tea bag tantrums.

They opposed the senate version of health care reform because it didn’t go far enough. Now they are deciding that half a loaf is better than none. They were never allies of the republicans; that was a pipe dream.

How does the British election system work?

Posted by admin on March 31st, 2010 and filed under election | 1 Comment »

What’s this about the prime minister "calling an election?"

Do you not have elections until the guy in office decides for another one? Is it just tradition that decides the term limit?

The government get elected for a 5 year term, but they can call a general election any time they wish during their 5 year term.
