I have a 97′ Chevy Pickup CK1500 series truck with a 350 two barrel carb. Whenever I bring it up to around 100mph the switch activates. I want to know how to adjust this.
oh hell I can’t type worth a damn, it’s a four barrel, sorry, next time with the bad comments you get reported
LOL listen to all the little babies……."you know that truck is not stable"……."what is the speed limit". I bet these people are the a-holes going 60mph on the interstate.
People who dont learn to drive at high speeds and control their vehicles in extreme situations are much more likely to loose control and hurt not only themselves but other drivers as well.
As for your question…….you may have to have a new ECU installed or a Piggyback ECU.
There may also be a control that you can simply plug in and change the settings.
i have an 86 camaro iroc z with a with an 89 350 TPI. how do i remove the govenor so that it dont shut down when floored on the freeway?
There is a ‘governor’ so to speak – it’s embedded in the program coding of the ECM (Electronic Control Module) or the computer. It’s referred to as a "speed limiter", and I believe it’s factory set at 110mph. To "remove" it, you’ll have to have a new chip programmed without it coded in. There are many people available around to do this – check out http://www.thirdgen.org – there’s even instructions on how to get the chips, burners, and the knowledge to reprogram it yourself.
please answer its free points =) well um what were the governers of each colony
here are the names of the 13 colonys now just to find the governers.
[ Massachusetts | Rhode Island | Connecticut | New Hampshire ]
[ New York | Delaware | New Jersey | Pennsylvania ]
[ Virginia | Maryland | North Carolina | South Carolina | Georgia ]
i meant who thanks alot!
What were, or who were? If it is "what" then the answer is a representative of the British monarch who carried out executive functions. If it is "who" then there are more than one per colony, as colonists began arriving around 1630 and the United States did not become a country until 1776. It’s a long list – see links below.
32 from govenors
16 from congress
How exactly are they intertwined?
What is art?
What is politics?
Every politician is an artist. (its not easy to fool a nation without art
Every artist is not a politician
The only states that voted more Republican this time around are the deep southern states. You had white southerners voting 9 to 1 McCain over Obama.
Do you guys really want to be known as the angry white southern party?
You might have a little bit of support all over the nation, but that’s your base right there.
kick em to the curb.
Senator Bernie Sanders describes himself as a democratic socialist. I like him, so this is not about condemning him or his point of view. But the term social democrat, which is common in Europe, is not much used in the US. He seems to be making a point about the specific term democratic socialist. Is that common in Europe, too, and what’s the basic difference?
These are not different names for the same point of view. Both are common in Europe and elsewhere. The democratic socialist tends to stand to the political left of the social democrat.
Social democracy promotes a mixed (socialist and capitalist) economy promoted by a democratic government. It is associated with what has been called the welfare state and in the United States with political liberalism. This is capitalism modified by social reform (not necessarily revolution).
Democratic socialism believes in the "meaningful participation and control of daily life at work and in the community (workers’ and community self-management), with managers (where needed) elected by and responsible to workers and community members." This concept does not allow the private capitalist ownership of big business. Some might say that this is very close to communism.
Has this election caused you to re-evaluate your positions on certain topics?
I think this election has been a good time for reassessment of our personal inventories and where we stand exactly… I’ve been more involved than I have been in a long time…
In doing research on different topics, I’ve come across some things that I never knew before and changed my position on abortion from pro-choice to pro-life…
Have you changed any of your ideas or positions on issues during this election?
Yes, I support Hillary now
