How many fellow Republicans will admit that Sarah Palin is an idiot?

I want John Thune to run for president in 2012. He’ll manhandle that skinny boy from Hawaii and take the White House with ease. But this Sarah Palin just won’t shut up.

How many Republicans agree that Palin is bad for the party? I know she has some good conservative values, but she is an absolute idiot. It pains me to watch her talk, especially about foreign policy. And, unfortunately, she knows nothing about domestic policy either.

I am not a republican, however I do not like her. It isn’t simply because my values lie with the opposing party, but I really do think that she does not know what she’s talking about. It kind of saddens me that people like her are allowed to be a prominent figure in the party. I think there are many more qualified and educated people, and I think that if she doesn’t get out of there quick, it will be bad news for the rest of the conservatives. I mean, really. You have no idea how many people think conservatives are just like her. I know there are many smart people in both political parties, and I think the animosity towards the conservatives from the liberals are because of her. The sooner she’s gone, the sooner a more qualified person can step up.

Disable a govenor on an electric bike?

Posted by admin on May 29th, 2010 and filed under govenor | 2 Comments »

I just bought a Veloteq Commander electric bike and I want to do the right thing, sorta. It looks like a motorcycle and drivers expect it to act like one, but it only goes 20 mph with the electric govener on. I’m told it can go much faster without the govenor, but alas it is electrical and not mechanical. Any electrical people want to help me out?

Leave it alone, the brakes on the bike are only good for the max speed of the bike. Changing the max speed of the bike with insufficient brakes could get you at best hurt, at worst dead.

If what you have isn’t fast enough to suit your needs, do the right thing, buy something that does.

What is the best way to venture into politics?

Posted by admin on May 29th, 2010 and filed under politics | 2 Comments »

I am a Republican-conservative(political only) and am interested in getting into politics. I do not want to be Governor or anything, but I do live in a Capital city. Is there anything I can do to volunteer or make an appearance in the political realm? I have no political experience, and am not really qualified to run for any office. I do want to make a difference and have my voice heard.

Slowly.

How does the republican party manage to keep their rank and file voters from rioting?

Posted by admin on May 29th, 2010 and filed under republican | 7 Comments »

When the rank and file, pickup truck driving republican voters realize that Obama is not the "socialist" their party has convinced them that he is and they realize how they have been duped into passively accepting an economic system that allows 5% of the people to control almost all the wealth, will they simply jump ship or riot against their handlers?

And might they consider bring back the guillotine for use against their former spokesmen (Rush,Rove, Cheney ect) in retaliation for the abuses they have suffered?

They use fear. It works on the uneducated and ignorant.

Can a religious country claim to be democratic? Or is a religious state inherently elitist?

I am particularly talking about Israel…..I understand that 20% of the population are Arabs, and that they are regarded as 2nd class citizens. How can Israel claim to be "democratic" if Arabs are treated as 2nd class citizens and if its a "Jewish" state?

I’m not denying Israel the right to be called a Jewish state, but if it is a Jewish state, isn’t that by definition NOT a democracy? Wouldn’t it be closer to a theocracy?

Although Israel is in fact a Jewish state but since its government and government institutions are secular it is not a theocracy.
Since it is a democracy in a similar model as other Western style democracies, then it is a democracy.

How would I go about creating an election poster of two candidates? Do you have any ideas?

Posted by admin on May 29th, 2010 and filed under election | 1 Comment »

I have to make an election poster, stating who would be a better king : Claudius or Hamlet in the play of Hamlet. Do you have any creative ideas of how I would go about doing this, just to jog my brain. I currently have the idea of dividing a poster in two – representing the two opposing sides, with quotes from each candidate, as well as pros and cons. Would this be the appropriate way of making an election poster? Do you have any better ideas?

Check out a big poster gallery with all kinds of posters for good ideas on artskills.com. I don’t know if they have the exact poster you are looking for but they have plenty, that’s for sure. You can also get a free poster idea book download there.
Good luck!
