What does Clinton have to do/win to be the democratic candidate?

I don’t know how the elections are based, but I was wondering if and when we will know who the democratic candidate is? Also how do they decide who it is? What does Clinton have to do to be the democratic candidate?

Since neither Democratic candidate will have the required delegates to win the nomination (counting FL & MI or not), the super delegates will make the decision at the convention. Therefore, the vote of the general public will not come in to play. The Super’s will elect which ever candidate they deem is best for the Democratic party.

Therefore to win, Hillary will need to convince the Super Delegates that she is the best candidate to nominate.

Neither one of the candidates will have enough to win the nomination, that’s why they should count Florida and Michigan

She must lie, cheat, steal, bribe, and destroy the democratic party. She seems more than happy to do all 5.

The democratic candidate will be Obama, unless he drops out.

Update: to the person above me. IF they count MI and FL neither will still be able to get enough pledged alone to lock it up. This is because when you add in MI and FL, the amount of delegates you need to clinch goes up as well. Including them doesn’t change that neither will have enough pledged. It is widely accepted that the undecided superdelegates will side with the pledged delegate leader in the end. That COULD be clinton but it is a VERY VERY long shot for her right now… that’s why I say her only real chance is if Obama decides he doesn’t want to be president. I don’t see that happening.

Kill Barack Obama. She’s used to killing people when what she wants seems virtually impossible to attain.

It’s so bungled up this year. I’m not sure any of the delegates will matter. I think it’s going to come down to popular vote- Thats what Tommy Jefferson would do.

All she has to do is watch Obama implode from his own stupidity. Momentum is on her side. By the time the primaries are over, it will be obvious she is the best candidate.

She cannot pass Obama in elected delegates. She has to blackmail the "super"delegates into supporting her.

Somehow she would have to eliminate about 30% of Obama supporters from each of the states left. … basically she has no chance.
