This is my newest toy, It is a 5 HP Vert. flyball Gov. Blackstone oil engine. It is all original and in excelent condition. It was shipped from the Factory June 11th 1901 The story goes that it went to a family business to run a small shop. Then some time shortly after the family had a dispute and closed the doors until the mid 1960 at witch time everything including the engine was sold at auction. The man who bought the engine then ran into some finanical issues and sole the engine in the mid 1980’s Then I bought the engine and had it shipped here to the US. From what I am told the engine last ran in 1922. So this video shows the engine running for the first time in 87 years!
