Obviously, you weren’t reading my post.
I was arguing against the GOP not Stossel who I have already talked about in my past post.
Boiled down to its essence, Libertarian political philosophy is supposed to be about freedom to do as one wishes so long as it doesn’t violate the rights of other or basic laws.
But many people who call themselves Libertarians are essentially right wingers who dont like the GOP or the Democrats for that matter.

Stossel is no different from Republicans which is probably why he is on Fox News and Business channel.
The GOP has been using the anti-government line for years but during the Bush years they expanded government by creating the Homeland Security department and they spent the country into near financial oblivion.

Don’t believe the socialist hippies that want to smoke weed freely but still want the government to be their mommy when they call themselves libertarian.
