    ’cause you haitians are always crying about haiti being shitty, bad, and poor.

    And because your …’leaders’ have nothing better to do than steal all the money and give a rat’s about the haitian people.

    unfortunately the us government doesn’t want them to prosper

  3. jaakoptube Says:

    So, you think that …
    So, you think that given the level of corruption in our country, the international community is just gonna give us billions of dollars and let us decide what to do with it? Of course not. So given a choice between their aid, and their decisions, as opposed to no aid and starvation, I think the choice is clear. And maybe if we would’ve been a bit more responsible in the past, we wouldn’t be in this situation now.

  4. jaakoptube Says:

    @manouchecamf …
    @manouchecamf That’s because us Haitians obviously haven’t made the best choices ourselves since our country is in the situation that it’s in. If we knew what was good for us we would’ve not elected some presidents in the past, and we would’ve conducted business in general differently. Because of our short sightedness of the past, we now don’t even have the resources to help ourselves and 90% of the population would probably die of starvation if it wasn’t for external aid.

    “Men make their own …
    “Men make their own history,” wrote Karl Marx. “But they do not make it just as they please; they do not make it under circumstances chosen by themselves, but under given circumstances directly encountered and inherited from the past.” In this clip. a farmer calls out, “Decentralize the government’s power TO the countryside!”

    @kpierre2003 As you …
    @kpierre2003 As you want, you are free to have your opinion.
    But brush your mouth before you talk about people’s family, don’t “bet” on anything about this, you don’t know anything about me. Second of all, I’ll say it again, we don’t want Aristide back, except those like you for x reasons..why Aristide back ? Dis-moi..

  7. kpierre2003 Says:

    @Didem92 well ur …
    @Didem92 well ur PART haitian family doesnt speak for the true full blooded haitians. I would be willing to bet that ur family arent even originial descendants from haiti. Of course ur members dont want aristide to come back so your opinion is NON GRATA to me. even as i come from jacmel, those “le sous peuple” as your call them are still MON PEUPLE. put aristide or the lavalas party in the elections tommorrow and see who wins so save ur comments

  8. Didem92 Says:

    @kpierre2003 Yes,I …
    @kpierre2003 Yes,I was born in Port-au-prince,and lived there during 9 years. A part of my family is haitian,and some of my members live there.Personally we don’t want Aristide back..the only haitians who ask for him is ” le sous peuple ” ,pas guin moune ki mande pou li.

  9. kpierre2003 Says:

    @0neofthem its bc …
    @0neofthem its bc the US wont let other countries get involved in the rebuilding bc they want to control haiti’s resources. what 99% of americans dont know is that their is oil and other mineral resources in Haiti. I know this bc im haitian n ive seen and taken pics of these foreign mining companies in Haiti. Clinton n Bush DESTROYED haiti, overthrowing the former pres 2x amongst a whole bunch of other things

  10. kpierre2003 Says:

    @Didem92 my …
    @Didem92 my question to you is are you haitian? what makes you think that no one wants aristide back? bc if what you see on the news??? he was so baddd that ppl were having demonstrations a couple of weeks ago asking for his return. As a haitian, I know the TRUTH n im not going to let some outsider tell me otherwise. the US overthrew aristide both times and destroyed haiti even before the earthquake

  11. Didem92 Says:

    @kpierre2003 No one …
    @kpierre2003 No one wants Aristide back ! A priest who became a president, especially a bad president…no way.

  12. Didem92 Says:

    @0neofthem Sarkozy …
    @0neofthem Sarkozy did give a million for the rebuilding of Haiti, and there are many french associations that also help for the rebuilding and the care of the population. Concerning the neighbors of Haiti,there is a racism between the domenicans and haitians,and the latinos countries.. Thanks to the Americans and other countries who gathered to help Haiti,Haitians are very grateful of it.

  13. 0neofthem Says:

    why the …
    why the doesn’t france or haiti’s neighbors do a greater part in the rebuilding. its always america that pays for all the that happens in the world.

  14. WODMIdotORG Says:

  19. nextthought Says:

    I don’t the …
    I don’t the rebuilding of Haiti will have any value. The facts as I understand them the country 9 million people. Port O Prince 1.5 million and thats where all the damage was 200,000 dead and half the homes ruined.
    The Haitians must lead there rebuilding efforts otherwise the outcome will be worthless. the aid agencies infantilize the people give them abilities to get small loans empower them to rebuild there country.

  20. IZRAYELININANJEZI Says:

    The so-called …
    The so-called Haitian are the Israelites from the tribe of LEVI according to Deuteronomy 28:15-68. Now its time to repent as a Israelites and keep the Laws of Mosthigh God.

  21. kpierre2003 Says:

    I loved that fact …
    I loved that fact that the former prime minister stated” we are not going to accept another coup d eta!
    There is a reason he said this, we all know, well most ppl know that the US overthrew Aristide in 2004, a democratic elected leader. the lavalas party was the strongest political party in Haiti. Dont you think its interesting that the lavalas have not be allowed to participate in any elections since aristide was overthrown?

  22. kpierre2003 Says:

    The truth is …
    The truth is starting to unravel and its time the truth be told. The US dont care about rebuilding haiti, they just want to turn it into a sweat shop factory bc to them that is our advantage to the world. Aristide was and is the only leader that truly cared about Haitians and refused to be a puppet of the US. Aristide wanting to raise the minimum wages, build hospitals, roads and invest in education were the crimes he committed.

  23. RinEditionB Says:

    I believe the …
    I believe the people when they describe the greedy factory owner standing over them, forcing them to stay. The factory site that few escaped from reminds me od the Triangle shirt factory fire before the women’s movement. :(
    And balls to your stupid security! Those people are hungry! I can just see some sitting in a chair “welll, we have to keep things orderlyyyy. *drawls*’
    omfg, sometimes I love being american, but sometimes it’s downright embarrassing.

  24. TheGoddessRegistry Says:

    We are not about to …
    We are not about to accept a coup de eta`!

  25. TheGoddessRegistry Says:

    Haven’t you guys …
    Haven’t you guys heard ?

    Haitian civilians always fight back!
