false left right … false left right paradigm. both parties are controlled by the same slavemongering globalist bankers…quit voting for the lesser of 2 evils, people.
Yet all the best … Yet all the best presidents we had were mostly REPUBLICANS.
Fact is that you liberals are too stupid to help the economy, too to protect our country, and too jealous of other people’s success
@Nexthendrix2112 … @Nexthendrix2112 Yeah, but if you look at how the platforms have changed, those republicans became democrats. So when todays republicans say that they are the party of Lincoln, its not true.
In this day and age … In this day and age, people are falsely led to believe in America that any growth of government is “tyranny”.
That’s what the South said about the North’s attempts at ending slavery at the federal level.
Government was created to secure people’s rights, not to take them away. A national health care system helps secure the right of life, which is the most important of all.
“Congress shall have the Power to lay and collect taxes… to provide for… the general Welfare of the United States.”
These are just my … These are just my typical analyses on how both parties want government. The Republicans accuse the Democrats of tyranny in an unwarranted fashion.
When the Founders spoke of “tyranny”, I don’t think they were referring to a national health care system. How many Greek despots or feudalist monarchs campaigned for the “tyrannical” concept of them paying for the well being of every one of their citizens?
Does providing for the general Welfare seem tyrannical to anyone?
The Republicans and Democrats both want to secure individual rights. The Republicans, however, only really support the rights of independence from the government (except for some moral issues, like same-sex marriage and etc.).
Democrats support individual rights, but they believe in government’s role in securing the rights of life and the pursuit of happiness. Unlike the Republicans, they believe government protects rights.
The Republican party of then supported big government and consisted of liberals, radicals, and minorities. The opposite is true for the modern Republican party. Lincoln and his pro federal authority government style are the reason people say “the United States” rather than “these United States”.
The Republican Party of today is just the Democratic Party of then modernized to conform to changes in social justice.
Republican, … Republican, Democrats oppose each other yet hold the same agenda. In other words, opposite sides of the same coin. They both support tyranny, suppression of rights and both lie through their teeth. The Repubs say they “support” the Constitution which is total bs by their actions. The Dems lie when saying they are “for the people” which is totally untrue and they really cold care less. Both parties, along with our two party system can go to hell.

@wollysworldtv no … @wollysworldtv no the republicans suportt civil rights, in fact some of the most rascist people i meet are dems, old style cracker-speak lol, thats a democrat for ya, you just think that because race does not matter in the republican party, we concentrate on everyone not just one race. first black senetor was a republican, first hispanic govenor was a republican, fist black govenor was also a republican, and first jewish cabinet member was a republican.
@flapjackmaka – 0% … @flapjackmaka – 0% of Southern Republicans is more than 7% of Southern Democrats? Your math is off. My source is Congressional records. Can’t really beat documented voting records.
What about Robert Byrd? He’s one of the original Dixiecrats who remained Democrat. Most of them turned Republican (Ex: J. Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, etc.)
@A86
actually … @A86
actually more southern republicans favored civil rights than southern democrats. Same with northern republicans. Don’t know where you get your “facts” and I dont really care either. Btw. The democrats tried filibustering the ‘64 act (there were multiple ones). And if you’re solely counting the 1964 act which I assume you are, it was a democrat controlled congress as well.
@flapjackmaka – It … @flapjackmaka – It was both. Actually though the Northern Democrats supported the Civil Rights Act at a higher rate than the Republican Party. 94% of Northern Democrats supported the Civil Rights Act while only 85% of Northern Republicans supported it. 7% of Southern Democrats supported it and 0% of Southern Republicans supported it.
The two party … The two party system is a distraction from the truth and keeps us divided. See the comments below for proof.
It’s time to look behind the curtain America!
This political system is a sham. Look at the last 2 presidents doing the exact opposite of what they said they would do. STOP labeling yourself and others. It’s WE THE PEOPLE versus the political/media propaganda/tax enslaving/Military Machine.
