Profit margin which you love to cite is the amount of profit after all salaries and expenses are paid. What it doesn’t reflect is that no one in any agency overseeing any public option is going to be making $124 million a year like the CEOs of some of these insurance companies. Profits are what go to shareholders…not this stuff.
THey are not … THey are not raising the costs the costs are getting passed on to everyone who pays because of the illegal immigrants who already get free health care and the poor who like going to the doctor for socializing with a doctor or nurse. If you want rationed care go to the UK.

You still have not … You still have not levelled a credible argument of why we should not rein in an industry that raises premiums 4 times the growth of wages, and when people need coverage the most they get dropped. You can dislike Obama all you want and you clearly do, but despite what you want, Obama isn’t the topic, reform of health care is. There’s one side of the aisle that is overall trying to reform things, and the other side overall is doing everything they can do to block reform. It is hard to justify.

Last I heard quoted, people were saying the overhead for administrative salaries and expenses was like 3 percent for Medicare compared to like 14 percent for the insurance industry. If you found 3 percent somewhere I’m sure all the major news outlets would love to get a look at it, because that’s not what their reporters are reporting.
