Does Sarah Palin have the credentials to run for the Presidency in 2012?

Posted by admin on July 8th, 2010 and filed under sarah palin | 20 Comments »

Sarah Palin kicked off her political career by being elected as the mayor of a VERY small Alaskan town. She is now the governer of the least populated state in the Union. Does she really have the "executive experience she says she does?

hate to burst your bubbles liberals, but have you not noticed Pailin has more experience than Obama in the first place? Clearly anyone who has touched a senator’s seat and votes present can be president. America, we’ve lowered our standards significantly.

She thinks she does. No one else does. Even if she spend the next 4 years as governor of Alaska, she still is not presidential material

Yes she does have the power. But I’m not voting for her.

She is over 35 and an American born citizen, that is all the credentials you need to run for president. Now does she have the credentials for people to take her as a serious enough candidate for her to win a presidential election? Hell no.

    More so than Obama. Yes.

And it is not the least populated state in the union. You really should check your facts (there are three with lower population).

One of these is Vermont… you know, the state where Howard Dean was governor? No one questioned his experience.

By that time she will have served about a term and a half longer than Obama served in the senate. and whats a matter with being a mayor.

By the way Wyoming is the least populated state Alaska is #48

Having lived in AR. when Clinton was Governor, I think she is as qualified as he was or Obama is, who never did anything of value prior to holding office.

I don’t like Sarah Palin and any answer I gave would be bias. I think McCain is an admirable man, but Sarah Palin disgusts me. However, I don’t think she is qualified until she has more experience under her belt.

I’ve read that she will either:
    a) Run for re-election in 2010 for Governor
    b) Run for U.S. Senate in 2010 from Alaska
    c) Run for President in 2012

Yes, and in four years she certainly will have plenty. She’s very
smart and intelligent, good wife and mother, has done well in
Alaska as Mayor and Governor, knows how to be a Conservative,
I think the only women Democrats want are Liberals like Hillary,
Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, and Maxine Waters. Otherwise, they call
women on the conservative side as morans, uneducated, not
enough executive experience, and any other dumb reasons they
can come up with. Just more bias stuff and vicious attacks.

Maybe, maybe not. If she educated herself in the things necessary to become the President, and then on how to conduct yourself in public as being a political figure, she might. But seeing how she’s so stubborn, and from my friend, who is an Alaskan and has met Sarah a few times, I don’t think she’ll be listening to anyone but herself and God. But if Obama screws us over, one can only hope that she wises up, or a better man, (or woman), comes along for us to vote for.

Being the executive of the largest state but with the 2nd smallest population doesn’t give her the experience she needs. If she really wants to make a run for it, she should try running for the US Senate. If Obama does well with his first term, she may have to wait a second term. Maybe by then she’ll have done her homework.
