@TheHomelandDefender You do know that the draft was abolished in 1973, right? When Hannity was 12 and Palin was 9. So obviously they never dodged the draft. BUT, if you want to bring that in, how about Bush 43, who skirted military service? Do you excuse that? By the way, Nazism is not liberal, it’s ULTRA-extreme right wing. PS- If you think Palin is smart and articulate, that’s your opinion. But the majority of Americans disagree, so the idea that she will be elected president is laughable.

I don’t agree with a lot of conservatives in politics, but that doesn’t mean I think they’re all stupid (although some are, but so are some liberals…stupidity is not grounded in political ideology)…but this kind of hateful generalizing hurts our ability as a nation to effectively debate the issues and come up with real solutions.

Great, great post. Not only one I agree with, but one that I think needs to be said as much as possible.
I totally see it, but its inspiring that I finally feel like SOME of us are at least beginning to see it.
It really is bigger than politics too, it’s like, just in general, what happened to the ADULTS of the world? What happened to patience, reason, maturity, and compassion?
It’s almost like we have so much freedom of expression & opinion, that we’ve begun to abuse it.

I don’t think they will, because I don’t think they CARE. To us, it’s about winning the argument, to them, it’s about winning the power. Exactly. That, I think is a reasonable, and maybe even realistic way to deal with the problem.
But the reason they get away with it, is because OCCASIONALLY, it is news. When they cover the plane landing on the Hudson, and there are no politics involved, they do deliver the news. But when it comes to politics, it’s impossible for them to deliver it without at least implying their opinion, and when it comes to someone like Beck, its pretty much all opinion.
